    Hi can enybody tell me if there is a tool avalable to get the four threded bolts out to split the fhp motor any help welcome

    hi flash i had to make a tool for aeg motors it was made out of 1/4 extention cut groove in and fitted coller over end worked a treet used to replace bearins (well you had to when moters were £180 ++ if you want to see it ill send photo

    Use a Hotpoint 95 suspension leg. Lock two 13mm headed nuts together on the threaded end. Saw a slot in the other end – voila.

    I’ve been fitting new bearings (and other devious constructions) to AEG/FHP motors for years. 30 tonne puller is useful as well…… 😀

    hi criss i used to aeg agent meny moons ago so had to change bearings on motors had to make tool for pulling pully off though not much demand now though??

    Still a regular “nice little earner”, Pen. 30 tonne gear puller winds the pulley and front bearing off together, no bother.

    This is Yorkshire – lots of old machines still chugging along ………
