    Hi,

I have a Firenzi DW 928 WH which is making a terrible grinding noise when the door reaches its furthest point to allow extraction of the trays.

The thing washes fine but I am concerned the door hinges may be rusted/rusting. Would I be able to get spare hinges and swap them out?

    Thanks.

Brake block(s) collapsed most likely – you need THESE.

Remove side panels for access – power off first.

    Hi,

Took side panels off and it was collapsed brake block.

    Thanks for your help.

I also have this grinding noise on my Whirlpool ADG 957 dishwasher, but the door does not now fully open, could this be the same fault or is it likely to be something different?

    thanks in anticipation

    Yup. 🙂

And these bands are another favourite on these machines as well. 😉

    Hi
Just had the sides of my dishwasher (Whirlpool ADG 957 )both brake blocks collapsed and both metal door straps snapped.

The problem i have now is that even when i get new parts i’ve no idea how they fit,i understand how the straps fit to the hinge and the other end connects to the large springs , what i can’t figure out i where does the free end on the spring hook on the the body of the dishwasher.

And then how do the brake blocks fit?
Any help in the method of putting all back together would be appreciated,

    pictures if possible please.
    Thanks in anticipation

P.S. The reason i cant figure out the hooking point for the springs is that both springs where adrift when i took the sides off.

P.P.S. at least the door now fully opens and i can use it rather than get my hands back in the sink full of pots and pans.
