Firenzi freezer – flashing green light

Just bought a new house and the Firenzi Freezer (FFR 100) has a flashing green light. The manual says to call the nearest service centre. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Is it flashing or is it just the neon flickering ? If flickering then this is normal on a neon switch.

If actual physical flash…how many as there would be a pause between the flashes.

Best way of describing it is probably “pulsing” – a flash followed by a slow fading of the light – so it’s definitely not a flicker.

There’s some drone-like noise that’s also pulsing.
