We have a Whirlpool (I think) Firenzi single oven Type FCEM6, Model SF904X-1X. After a recent power outage it is now not heating the oven (although light / fan/ grill works)

We do not have the complete instructions for re-setting it. I’ve reset the clock, but am unsure as to whether this is all that’s required, as it’s still not heating. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Was the “power outage” a result of the fan element burning out I wonder? Was the oven in use at the time?

The oven was in use, but the power went throughut the house (had to trip the fuses back on) and the fan still comes on when the oven is turned on, as does the light. There’s just no heat.

The oven may have been responsible for the whole house going I suppose…

Indeed, I’m sure it was the source of the problem. So, you now need a new Fan Oven Element 😉

OK, cool. That’s great. Thanks very much for your help. I can stop trawling the web for user manuals now, and go and phone the landlady instead (ah the [few] joys of renting).

Thanks again, I really appreciate it. Quickest forum ever!
