Firenzi (Whirlpool) double oven

Hi
Original sympton was grill not hot enough,changed energy reg which seemed to improve it .
She now says it’s not as hot as before i.e not bright red element
anyone come across this before

Hi Lawrence,

On some of these double ovens you need to turn the oven stat up full for the grill to stay red hot. post the 12nc and I will let you know for sure.

When she called me back I tested it as you have described and it was glowing just off red ,she says not good enough ,I say it’s cured the original fault .
Could there be a variation in energy reg’s ?
I will try and get the 12nc for you

On these ovens with the simmerstat / thermostat control if you put the oven stat on full and the grill switch to full it should supply continous power to the grill element so you can check if it is working correctly quite easily.

I have saw some customers following the instructions but closing the door which will kill the power once the oven stat kicks off.

Hi all
just thought I would feedback on this ,At the cust’s request I changed the grill element and what do you know… It fixed it !!
Now the grill element glows bright cherry red and she says it does cheese on toast in sec’s .
No idea how or why but she’s off my case .
