Hi,
I would like to get help from alexa, or any one else who can help.
I have a Fisher and Paykel smartdrive 051.
When the wash cycle is started the water keeps filling and does not stop.
The wash cycle will not start.
When I advance the cycle through to the rinse the machine functions OK.
Can anybody help – fault codes or schematics.
Scott
Check air pressure hose to level switch for chaffing/pinholing, check level switch function (should click when pressurised, check contacts onto power board. If all ok power board likely suspect. Air hose normal culprit however.
have you ever taken the pressure hose off before.
Check the small blue anti kink wire is not down the side wer the hose connects. sometimes the hose can still fold over and kink.
You say it does the rinse ok are you sure it does the deep 2nd rinse ???? OK.
Best pressure hose in whitegoods holes are very unusual(they will change it now :-))
Thanks Guys for your help.
Yes, I had taken the pressure hose off while I was trying to repair another fault.
Anyway I started up the machine to investigate the deep rinse cycle and fault had gone.
If anyone has any ideas as to why the machine seems to have repaired itself I would be interested to hear them.

Possibly residual water in the collecting bell from when the air hose was removed? If the chamber is full, there is no air to displace to the level switch, so it’ll keep right on filling.
Just a thought; Kiwi and F+P’ll probably have some better ideas……. 😀
