Fisher and Paykel 701 Smartdrive

Good morning from Australia

We have the above washing machine. The error message is
130 ( 10000010). Machine stops at any spin cycle, although water seems to pump out ok. (I’ve actually put a new pump in in the hope of fixing the problem, but no) Bowl tries to start up to spin, but gives up. Checked through your archives, didn’t spot this error. Thanks for your time,

Fault Code130
Rotor Position Sensor (RPS)Error
Likely causes are bad Connection at Wiring harness
Faulty RPS (corroded Terminals Usually )
Faulty Motor Controller (MAin PCB)

Check Wiring Harness especially At RPS (RPS is located near Motor under bowl )
Check for Signs of Water leakage
Main Seal can give way leaking slightly onto RPS
If This is All clear Etc Then Unfortunately seems like Motor Controller
