KeymasterG’day
I have a F&P ED54-U. Serial #BUL161572 and product code 93962.When ever I turn it on (no matter what setting its on) it runs fine for about 5-6 seconds and then turns off and continually beeps. One of the lights on the digital display also comes on. It is the middle of the three lights for the autosensing drying option.
I have done a search of the site but can’t seem to find error codes for this particular model. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,Richard

Funny how this is the second one in a couple of days…. You’re Bomboy as well, aren’t you?
We don’t honestly know the answer to your problem. Most of us are UK based and F+P laundry just doesn’t come this far.
Similar problems with European market sensor dryers are usually caused by sensor failure, or computer failure in that the board cannot detect the “gradient” between inlet and outlet sensors.
I assume that your F+P will work along generally similar lines, but can’t be more specific.
If you will bear with us, Alexa should be back on line within a short while, and as an Oz based engineer should be able to give you some more exact guidance.

HI! I am from Australia, have the exact same dryer model and it is doing exactly the same thing as yours. I have had the dryer for 11 years with little to no problems until today. It worked last night with a load of towels however when I got up this morning the towels were still damp. Sometimes the electrical stuff can become moist and you just need to let it dry out before it will start working again, they become a bit temperamental as they get older. Hope this helps
