    Hi,

    I have a Fisher and Paykel Smartdrive 500 1993 model and the springs that hold the top of the tub steady have snapped with age. My question is there only seems to be mounting (and remains) of 1 spring in the front left corner (when facing machine).

    Is this correct? I would have thought one in each corner was more logical.

    Yep only one spring (Bias Spring)keeps away from Out Balance Switch

    It has Four Tub Suspension Rods &springs (1 Each Corner)

    Thank you very much for your assistance bigsmokepiker – have repaired the broken Bias Spring and reassembled and now as good as gold again!

    This forum is helping me keep this poor old dear in operation!
