Fisher & P Smartdrive 608 Slow Filling on cold wash cycl

I have the above washing machine. From the forum I went into diagnostic mode and the LEDs indicate 00000000. Previously the machine when in warm water temp mode, had an intermittent fault that caused the bowl whilst being filled in the wash cycle, to drain at the same time. This was intermittent and the suggestion at the time was the temp mixing controller. I have since been running the machine in COLD mode only.
Whilst diagnostics indicates no faults the machine is taking about 1 hour to fill the bowl for the wash cycle. Can any one please help with diagnostics and a possible solution.

Syphoning……… end of drain hose below fill level of machine?
Cold water valve on its way out. Hot water valve on its out, although either of these should flag on diagnostics for time out fill.

I have checked the drain hose and it is not syphoning. The machine is just taking an eternity to fill on cold water only wash and the fill rate is substantially slower on a hot/cold mix.

Time for new cold valve then………… P/no 425320
