The top try is dead, Half way through the cycle it just died. Been to plenty of these and thought i knew ’em inside out but the only conclusion i can come up with is that there must be a break in the wire from the power board to the pcb but i metered each wire and got no breaks 😕 , Has anyone had this happen? (I’ve even powered the upper tray with the lower supply and it works fine)

could be the thermal link in the heater element. its used as a resistor to power the board in the draw front. New heater is the only fix if so.

Thanks mark but top tray powers up if connected to lower tray supply and works fine. Going to order wire and post with results. Fingers crossed!

If it jams at the 24/25 minute mark then it is a faulty heater plate.

Been back this morning to look at this and it stops at 60 mins and after heating and wont move to the rinse, cust said if left it will just wash ’til the cows come home. Could this still be a dodgey heater plate? No fault code and non stored either.

Hi Nige,
I would still say that the heater is faulty, you would need the resistance readings to be sure. Have you got the manual??
