Fisher & Paykel dishdrawer DD60DCHX6 F5 error

Hi, when you start a programme on the top drawer you hear the sound of the lid actuators kick in and the display shows F5 and the drawer doesn’t lock.
What’s the most likely cause of this issue….lid actuators? and are they easy to test and/or replace?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the reply.
I’ve looked at the manual ( albeit for a DD247) and it has been helpful but the no “F” error codes are listed.
Any chance of a link to my particular model?

If you look at the manuals early pages you will see it covers very similar models to yours. I don’t know of any F error codes but have you checked its not a display fault and it can display the lower arm of the E making it look like an F

also E5 seems to be a similar fault to the one you describe
