This DeLonghi Dishdrawer washer which is basically a Fisher Paykel D603
keeps (every few washes) triggering the flood switch causing an F1 fault.
There doesn’t seem to be much water in the base at all just a build up of drips that seem to fall mainly near the PC board and cover in the base. Only learnt a bit about these recently as I have come across a few lately. (Some good videos on YouTube on how to remove drawers etc). There doesn’t seem to be any leaks from under drawer motor seal. So it’s probably leaking from the seals that seal around the top of the drawer when you close it. What I find strange about this seal design is, when you open the bottom drawer, all the water that had sprayed up onto the lid of the drawe now drips down onto the base at the bottom. If you look up inside when you open the drawer you can see all the water droplets on what is the lid of the drawer when it is closed.
So my question(s) to you guys with some experience with these Dishdrawer things are. What are the common causes of leaks to the base? I see the lid to the drawer with seals is available as a part. Is it the same part for top and bottom drawer?

    Any Help Would Be Appreciated

    Thanks

Worth checking the internal fill hoses for splits…usually caused by a blocked softener…

You always get drips on the base when you remove the drawer just after a wash and there wont be enough water to set off the F1 alarm.

If it has had a leak in the past and the alarm goes off with no water in the base then it will probably be a faulty mains filter board.

I assume it is showing F1 on both drawers??

    Re: Fisher Paykel Dishdrawer leaking.

    Thanks for reply’s.
The customer said the f1 was showing on both drawers. I did read about f1 on one drawer meaning possible heater fault in other drawer.
It was about 5 days until I got there and when i turned it on it was all working. The base was only slightly wet around the mains board but nothing much at all. When I ran both drawers for about 5 minutes all I found were a few drips.
Not heard anything back from customer for few days now but wanted to arm myself with a plan b if I have to go back.

    Thanks
