I have a Fisher and Paykel dishwasher soft touch model 292T, when you turn the power on at the wall, a pump starts but no water?
If you add water to the bottom of the dishwasher it then starts to wash, and doesn’t stop washing. No lights, on the panel light up?

Any suggestion or help would be appreciated.

OK Drain pump always comes on at start of any cycle
But if no water coming it could be inlet valve or in some cases I have had problems with main power PCB (Located down bottom behnind kick panel)
If you can hang 5 i do have some diagnostics but i will have to post later this arvo when i get access

I think you may have water in the base of the appliance, the few ive worked on the lid motors are the main culprit for leaks on these appliances, or possibly something stopping the lid closing down, like a plate thts to big or something similar. If you pull out the bottom drawer and unclip the runners (each side of the drawerat the bottom behind the front panal) and see if there is water flooded.

If there has it may have blowen the power board under the plastic cover.

!!!If you do decide to check TURN THE POWER OFF!!!
