Fisher & Paykel Dishwasher

Hi Everyone , I’m having a panic attack with a DD603IH 2 Drawer dishwasher . I changed one before and had no problems . The water supply hose splits with the pressure and leaks into the inner cabinate this shuts off the water supply . The water softener in this case also blocked and I fitted a new softener unit, repaired the hose that was split all looked good .
When I connected the power it( The Lower Drawer ) started to heatn with very little water and a relay on the board started to click also the red LED in the softener started to flash . To make matters worse its integrated . The On/Off switch is mounted on the outer kitchen door on both drawers . When I connected the power to the machine the second and third lights lit in red .

You have probably had water on the mains filter board and if so the leak could have taken it out. Also check the connections from the mains filter board to both top and bottom harnesses and check both harnesses where they meet the control boards for each drawer. As a last resort split open the housing for each control board and check for damage..

Hey John , I examined the machine again . And as you suggested Yes The powersupply board at the bottom was cooked and took the lower drawer controller board with it . I didn’t check the upper controller as we were too far down the road at that stage .It was running into money so I recommended a new machine But not a F&P .Sorry for a late reply.
