    we need an element for a fisher and paykel fan oven. the trouble is, the rating plate has been wiped clean and the only numbers that the customer can give us are:-

    BI453
    BI603

    neither of which are recognised by connect.
    although connect do list a fan oven element, there’s no picture of it.
    the element has a long neck and the fixing on the other side is on the inside of the ring.
    is anyone familiar with this?

    If it is a BI603 then the part number you need is 542959P

    thanks john, i’ve just typed that into the search box on connect and i don’t think it’s the same element.
    the neck on the one on the appliance is long and thin. the one above is much wider.

    Looking on CDSL and it appears to be the wrong element in the picture but they might be using a generic picture for it, type the part number into the shop here as it is listed and has the correct picture.
