    Greetings, Wizards of Whitegoods!

I’ve got myself a Fisher & Paykel GW 708U that will not commence a load. It acts as if all systems are go and it is waiting for you to close the lid. My first suspicion was the magnetic reed switch on the lid, which I found to be faulty when I hit it with a multimeter. Although after bridging, shorting, hotwiring that switch, it still wont start.

With the powers of Google I was able to find how to get into the diagnostic mode, but was unable to find a tech sheet to reference these fault codes to.

Fingers crossed somebody has one for my model of machine.

Here’s what she spat out, in order of start to finish:

      Hold: Nothing
      Hold & Slow: Nothing
      Med: 65
      Hold & Med: 194
      Slow & Med: 11
Slow & Med and Hold: 1
      Fast: 29
      Hold & Fast: 9
      Fast & Med & Slow & Hold: 23
      Fast & Slow: 12
      Fast & Slow & Hold: 255
Fast & Med: Flashes between 1 and 2
      Fast & Med & Hold: 36
      Fast & Med & Hold: 73

My apologies if that’s to much information.
    Cheers,
    Tyson!

Is the wash cycle light blinking? is so it’s paused.
Also if you have bridged the connection and still no go the fault will be in the motor controller.
