Fisher & Paykel GW501 Smart Drive code 37?

Hi there,

I have a Fisher & Paykel GW501 Smart Drive that has not been working properly. It has been stopping part-way through spin cycles and giving no error beeps – it just shuts down.

The last time I tried to run it empty, there was a burning smell as it tried to pump out the water. I shut it down, googled how to get the diagnostic code, then got a series of lights up that add to 37. I also have a photo of the panel that I can e-mail for confirmation, if required.

What does this means?

Fault Code 37 Pump error
Either something jammed in pump or Pump itself Faulty
Pump Located under Washer
It sits under Bowl
Give Fan of Pump A Bit of a Tweek and it may free up Whatever is Stuck in there
If not you may have To remove pump
It Twist locks off & On the Mounting bracket
Check pump for signs of Water leakage
Pumps do have a Overload if they get to hot will shut Down
Power OFF
