Looking for solution to F&P iw811 WASHING MACHINE. Diverter valve replaced after circuit board fuse replaced. Now have fault code 40:-machine starts filling with water and drain pump operates at the same time!

If my machine has been out of use (not powered) for a few weeks, are there any set up codes I need to enter?e.g. machine ID etc ? Many thanks

    Please help ❓

I have deleted your post in the General forum, it only leads to confusion if different people are answering the same question. Keeps it nice and tidy with a single thread.

F&P is not my forte but someone will hopefully give you an answer soon.

    Jim.

There is no set-up, beyond the size setting procedure, which is applicable to fitting a replacement motor controller.

FC40 is the bowl disengagement fault. This can be caused by excess froth, faulty water level control or the clutch under the drum. Faulty pcb can also throw up the error. However, consider – the drain pump should not be running, therefore the motor controller board is at fault.
