    Hi,

I have the above machine and almost every time I go to use it, pushing the start button causes it to give long repeating beeps (about once a second) and the 1st and 4th lights (from the right) light up red and green respectively. I’ve tried the fault code diagnostic suggested here but when I cycle through to the point where the slow and hold lights are lit up, none of the fault code lights are lit, suggesting there is no fault (?). Other combinations of spin options light up various diagnostic lights however.

The problem is usually solved by switching off the mains for a minute, after which switching the mains on again lights up all the lights breifly and the machine beeps a quick, musical scale of 7 or 8 notes.

It’s 2nd hand and apparently it had it’s board replaced a few months ago, which the guy gave me the warranty receipt for.

Any ideas what the problem could be? I’ve only had it a few weeks and I’d be uber grateful to know I didn’t make a bad buy.

Sounds like the size error, but that should be constant; ie not reset when powered up again.

Try setting it and see what happens:

Hold “Wash Temperature Up”, then press “Power”. Press “Wash Temp Up”, ensure that “Cold” LED has lit to set machine for 5.5kgs. Press “Power” to exit.

    Regards,
