    Hi

I have a Fisher & Paykel Smart Drive Pride 5.5

It was beeping and flashing 00101011. Thought it might be the lint catch at the bottom, but that is clean. The machine, fills, and empties ok

I think it might be the OOB switch – looks corroded and doesn’t click (I think it should)

In diagnostic mode I get the following:

    00000000
    00101011
    00010001
    10010011
    00000100
    00000001
    00000000
    10010011
    00000100
    11111111
    00000000
    00110010
    00011011
    00101010

Any help would be much appreciated over this Easter period

    Thanks

    Zac

Re: Fisher & Paykel question re: diagnostic codes

    Hi

On advice from my father (an electrtical engineer) I connected the connector plugs that attached to the OOB switch, thereby short circuiting the switch.

The machine now works, which means I can use it until I can get to an electrics store to get a micro switch (cherry electrics).

    Saved myself some money

    Zac
