We have a F&P washer 601 that has recently developed a fault which results in it restarting the wash cycle after the final spin has been completed. We stop it by hitting stop/pause but when the power button is hit the 3 right lights (rinse, , Spin) come on and the machine can only be switched off at the wall.

    Appreciate any thoughts or suggestions

    Regards and thanks in anticipation

    Washer is in recycle feature

    To turn off
Turn power at power point. Press &hold Wash temp down button & then power button release buttons after 2 short beeps.
Now Use water level up button to turn recycle feature on/off

Med water level LED ON = Recycle ON
Med water level LED OFF= Recycle OFF

Recycle status can be checked when you Ist turn on washer

If last 3 lights come on =recycle ON
if last 3 lights Off =recycle OFF

Re: Fisher & Paykel Drive 601 – repeats wash cycle

Hi Bigsmokepiker et all, delay in response associated with the washing m/c being at our holiday location and have only just had chance to test your suggestion. (Dec/Jan is our holiday period)

I programmed as suggested, no beep but light pattern changed after approx 2 secs.

Changed Med water level to off per earlier advice.

M/c works fine and switches off as expected as long as power not switched off at wall. If power to m/c lost then reverts to recycle mode and restarts at end of cycle.

Rinse, final rinse and spin lights flash, reprogram as advised and again washer appears to work correctly until power lost for any reason.

This is a holiday place so we will put with the problem – the m/c is probably used 20 times per year however would be great to fix.

    Appreciate any advice.

    Rgds

    Mike
