My machine is not filling even with cold water. It gets so far very slowly then starts to do the fast beeping. The hot and cold lamps are flashing. I have checked all filters and hoses. The diagnostic test did not light any lamps along the top. If I manually fill for the wash and then again for the rinse everything works fine. (If I can find out the problem the electrical engineer in the house may actually look at it !!!)

Run the diagnostics in the Sticky at the top of the forum. You’ll probably find there’s a fill time-out problem pointing at the cold water valve.

I did the diagnostics according to your sticky no lights lit up at the top.
from the service manual I did the test at 8.3 to test the pump and water valves. Pump worked. Cold worked. Hot no water. Is this the problem ?

Sounds resaonable – hot water is only called for on the wash programme, not rinse, so the proportional cold water valve is only slightly open.

Valve should read 15 ohms if metered.

Hi

We now have the part. How do we remove the bracket to fit this? They don’t seem to be screws holding it in are they something you need a special tool for ?
