A mate of mine was about to turf a f+p GW712, 2yrs old, because one of the suspension hangers was broken. We replaced the brokem hanger with a unit from a f+p mw053 even tho the replacement hanger was about 12mm shorter. As the total assy is spring loaded we figured that the springs would sort themselves out and share the load. Have we made a correct assesment – or can we expect some further problems down the track?
