Now I have 3 Control modules that work fine apart from when set to fill with cold water it starts off on cold then after filling to about 10{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} it decides to switch to hot water.

I have been pulling my hair out with it I have even chnged th thermistor on the heat sink but it is still them same.

    Any help appreciated.

All F&P’s will add small amounts of hotwater when filling even though the cold only is selected and indicated.

    User setting been changed?

    Posted your model No.?

Posted your email address in order to receive the diagnostics?

Re: Fisher & Paykel washer filling with hot water

There is definite problem, I know small amounts of cold water are added to cool the mosfets on the heatsink, this should not need to occur duing filling as there is water flowing then and no heat build up. If anything it would feed cold water to cool but it is filling with hot.

The boards are gw 051, 501 and 701 machines.

I have swapped with other controllers in the same machine and all works fine.

With the water temp set to cold it will fill for a short time on cold then turns off cold soleniod and turns on the hot and continues to fill.

If it was only 1 board I would not worry but I am getting 3 of them all with this fault.

Not sure about user setting I have been working on these with no service info.
