Fisher&Paykel Intuitive Eco IW812 Error Code 37

Machine has been working well for ages now all of a sudden it stops at the rinse one and displays error code 37.

could someone please help with information.

No drain detected in the time allowed. Does it empty?

no I dont think so.. When the alarm goes off its still full of water

There you go, then. Bail or syphon the water out, then find out whether or not the pump is running. Even if it’s jammed, you should hear a humming noise.

If you do, the pump can be removed – it’s a twist fit from underneath. Power off – if the machine is plugged in, the pump is live.

Otherwise, you may be looking at a pump failurre, or a wiring problem, where the loom turns under the drum. It is possible that there are problems with the computer or water level system; but do the simple stuff first.

Did as instructed and the hardest part was getting the stupid earth clip back on 😆

As stated turn off and remove power.

Also turn off and disconnect water lines as you will need to tip the machine over to get to the underside.

Before unscrewing the water hoses, turn on the machine as start of wash cycle to release pressure buuild up within the hoses (do this after turning the taps off)

Before removing pump however you need to disconnect the power connector at the back of pump and also the earth clip, then depress the locking lever (plastic arm) and grasping pump assembly by the steel housing turn anti clockwise (after a small distance you can release teh arm). Be sure however to do this with kid gloves as most of the assembly is made of plastic.

Also be aware that there will be some water spillage when the pump comes away from the impeller housing.

Found a biro cap in pump, gave it a quick test and it seems to work ok, will know more after I let the electrical dry out some more.
