Fitting Bosch Shock absorber kits.

I had to replace a shock absorber kit on a Bosch WFLI2440GB/05. The kit I used was a 448032 and I am not happy with the way it fits

When using this kit the instructions said drill the existing peg out using a 13mm drill, knock out the pin and replace with a bolt that has a shaft about 10mm diameter.
There are metal plates that fit either side of the hole but it just doesn’t look as if it’s going to last.
The round washer fitted to the rear of the bracket doesn’t locate into anything and the plate although fits reasonably well looks as if if could still ride up inside the hole with any vibration. It appears the only thing that will prevent this fitting from moving is the plates being clamped tight either side of the bracket.

Have I fitted this right or am I missing something?

As long as you’ve followed the instructions in the packet and fitted the correct washers for the tub , then it’ll be ok. I’ve fitted a good few sets and not had any returns .

That’s encouraging, It just looks as if the bolts are going to start to move after a bit of use and wreck the damper fixing points.
