Is it possible for me (DIY) to fit a replacement element to the above built in oven. It looks like I will have to access the rear panel.

Switch off power first!
You can then remove the backplate of oven (from inside oven), inspect element hidden behind backplate & that fan is free. If screws securing element are on front, element can be eased out from inside oven & carefully take off cables making sure they don’t go back. If screws securing element are not visible from front its oven out & go at it from behind.
