    Hi,
My daughter was the proud owner of a Hotpoint FF92P fridgefreezer until earlier this week when the fridge section stopped working! The freezer still works fine, the fridge light still comes on but it’s over five years old and the fridge contents are warm.

My question is, “Any idea what’s wrong with it and is it worth repairing?”

Every conceivable fault on these has been discussed at length, right here:

Thanks Penguin45, that was interesting reading.

Having had a quick scan over the various discussions in your link, it looks like step one is a thorough defrost. Failing this, replacing thermistors would be a good idea but can you tell me what their part numbers are and how to change them. Failing that then its either time for a replacement or a service engineer but there doesn’t seem to be one of those in the Taunton area! Don’t suppose you have any contacts that you can recommend please?
