Flap doors for Scandinova upright freezer UF 97 S

I have the above freezer but the bottom lugs on two of the flap down shelf draws have broken away; each time the main door is opened the doors fall down and open. Does anyone know where I can get new ones???

Is it the lugs on the flap itself or is it the plastic peices that are on either side of the freezer wall that the flap fits into ?

This is a common problem and has been for at least 8 yrs.

Thanks for the speedy reply!
It’s the bottom pair of the two sets of lugs on the flaps; the side bits on the freezer wall are ok.
I think I will have to replace both of the broken flaps, do you know how I can get replacements?

It looks like an obscure one made for Comet (Scandinova is one of their own brand names).

Spares only from them by the looks of it http://www.cometspares.co.uk unless Bryan knows any different.

this product was made by vestfrost if send me all the info of moel number product code i see if i can them from vestfrost

Thank you all v much. I have found replacements at the comet site (although expensive for what appears to be a simple bit of kit!
