Flashing Lights on Hotpoint WF210G Aquarius

😳 My Hotpoint washing machine has started with the following fault:
On any cycle it gets to a point where it is full of water then stops and the on/off button starts flashing rapidly also Energy saver, Rince Hold & Time saver start flashing (slowly).
I’ve tried swiching off power. Checked to see if waste pipe is blocked/ kinked no probs there. I had a problem about a month ago where the bowl was out of line and nearly ripped my kitchen apart when it went into spin! This was repaired by an engineer who said we were probably not loading enough clothes into the machine.
This machine is still under warrenty but wondered if any one might know be able to shed some light if it’s something simple.

This also happens if I select ‘pump out’ cycle. After a few minutes on/off button flashes rapidly and Reduce creases & Time saver buttons flash slowly.

The lights flashing are probably indicating an error but as it’s a fairly new model there is no references to it apart from within Hotpoint (Merloni) service I don’t think 🙁

Best get an engineer back to be honest.

Thanks Dave. As you can imagine my confidence in this machine is really low now. I hope this isn’t a sign of things to come. I’ve only had the machine about 10 months & had two separate problems.
Engineer is coming on Wednesday.
