Flavel Dishwasher – Lights come on and then just goes dead

Hello all,
I have a Flavel FDW64 dishwasher.
Worked perfect until 2 days ago. Now, when I go to set the cycle, control panel is not activating.
I have disconnected it to see if it is a socket issue but when I switch the socket on, the machine beeps, lights flash, so there is power getting to it.
But then when I try to set a cycle, nothing. I press the left on/off button, nothing.
Is there anything I can try to see if it will work or is it a case of replace. Cost of d/washer v spares, not really worth it.
I did not notice any strange noises previously to let me know of failing pump etc…

well these faults can be a problem

check the wiring from the door control to the board. remove any plugs and replace

if it works then ok if not it can be

either board or the cable joining the two
