I have a flavel DWF 640 Dishwasher that stopped working during a wash cycle. It does not now seem to be getting any power even though the Plug fuse and socket are ok.Is there a fuse in the machine itself that could have blown? Thanks

Check the on/off switch first, then p.c.b, power off when testing.

Ok thanks, Is there no fuse inside the machine that could have blown? The reason I am asking is that I think there may have been an ongoing problem with the dishwasher draining, at times there would still be water in the machine at the end of a wash cycle.
I saw on another forum in a discussion about a different make and model that if the machine cant drain the pump will run for too long and cause a thermal fuse to blow. I thought something similar may have happened here.

No internal fuse, supply goes to on/off switch then to terminals 1(L) & 2(N) of KN2 edge connector on P.C.B, door switch comes into place to operate appliance, e/g it wouldn’t run unless door is closed.

This beko switch looks like the one in the flavel machine.can you confirm it is the same?

Is there a better alternative as this switch seems to be a poor design and likely to fail again, thanks
