ParticipantHi,
a couple of months back I replaced the spider in my machine with the help of folk on here: viewtopic.php?f=33&t=59356
Everything worked fine until today. I did a woolen wash (which I have never done before….curse you santa bringing woolen clothes) and when I went back to empty it the door lock light is on and the start/pause is flashing. I can’t start another cycle or anything.
There was no water in the drum, so I turned the machine off for a few minutes so I could open the door. I got the wash out, and it appears that the cycle has completed, because the clothes feel dry, as if they have been spun.
If I turn the machine on, the door latch starts to click, until I close the door and the lock light comes on straight away.
Any suggestions as to what could be causing, and how to go about resolving this problem? Any advice appreciated.
cheers
Russ

hi,
Is there more information that I could try and supply that would help anyone out in terms of providing an answer? If there is anything else you need to know just let me know and I’ll do my best to provide it.
Thanks in advance

Hi Russ,
Is it perhaps on a rinse and hold program?
You’d need to read you r instruction book to find out for sure but a lot of woollen and delicate programs have this feature.

Hi K,
nope it’s not in a rinse hold. The error code that I get when I turn the machine on while holding the start and skip buttons, then pushing the temp button twice, is that lights 2 4 and 8 are lit. Do you have any idea what this code refers to?
cheers

Not a clue right at the moment, is it one of these…

If so, you should be able to work it out.

Hmmm, unfortunately it doesn’t seem to match any of those, here’s a photo of it’s control panel. It’s very similar to the “Delta Display – without selector & button on/off” ….. except for the digital display…..and a few buttons…. 🙂

Look familiar to anyone?
cheers

I went back to have a look at the machine after a day or so of not touching it. It no longer beeps when you push a button….but it will do a wash! Very odd. I didn’t do anything!!

To get the beep back press the temp and spin speed buttons together for a second or so it will reset it
