ParticipantBeen to this machine today and reading from the top down the second, third and fifth light flashes out of a possible eight. To me this reads fault code 68 which appears not to exist 😕
I was unable to reset this machine 😥
Any suggestions would be great.

Yersss – see what you mean about the binary code. Well, all the E6- codes relate to temperature issues, so I suppose that’s somewhere to start. 🙁

Thanks Chris
Went to this machine last week and changed the interface to mainboard wiring harness as customer complained the machine packed up half way through the cycle with all light flashing etc however I could not fault it on the day so changed harness and all seemed well. Now its locked out on E68 😕

Try removing the cable at the interface and fit it in reverse. Switch power on then off. Reverse cable again so it is back in correctly and it should be ‘unlocked’. Don’t know why but it has worked for me in the past. Can’t help with E68 though as it doesn’t appear on any lists. 😕

Just found E68. It appears on new machines as ‘Earth fault on Heater’
Hope this helps.February 5, 2009 at 8:34 pm #276088Turbo

Thanks for your efforts Flyman but I gave up on this one, gave him his money back and suggested he called in Zanussi. I did do an earth leak test but only through the mains plug but you could well be right.
To be honest I would have been more thorough on this one but the machine was on a cattle farm so not great working conditions 😥
