    Hi everyone,

As a person with Anxiety Disorder, I am having a trouble with Washing machine.
I recently move to a new home, with brand new washing machine(Siemens iq500). Looks like, i see foam/suds during the rinse cycle. At the end of Spin cycle, no visible foams remain, (but maybe sometime, in the rubbre seal) but nothing on clothes. Is it an expected behaviour?
I also tried afte cycle ends running in rinse mode, and again suds/foam.
It definitely leaves some detergnt on clothes.

I tested this persil liquid, fairy pods, and ariel pods, all same behaviour.

I had a similar issue with my previous home, but I was suspeecting the machinewas old and it was because of that. What do you guys suggest?

    Kind regards

I’d say that what you are seeing is pretty normal. I think there’s always a small amount of detergent left, even after rinsing, but it shouldn’t cause any issues. If the machine has an ‘allergy’ or ‘extra rinse’ option then that will get some more out but will also use more water of course.
    🙂

When I don’t use conditioner, I also find a small amount of suds during the final spin. So perhaps adding even just a small amount of conditioner could help reduce the amount of suds.

As above, use extra rinse (Aqua Plus on my Bosch). if you aren’t sure, post the model number and somebody will be able to advise you of the correct option to use.

In a way I can understand that it is never fully rinsed because otherwise brands would not be adding ads like dermatologically tested/safe for skin/allergy approved or that shit. They in a way accept that it stays on clothes.

I think I will embrace this fact.

This is the product I have btw https://www.siemens-home.bsh-group.com/uk/productlist/WD14H421GB

    iQ500 washer dryer 7 kg 1400 rpm WD14H421GB

The machine does have a Rinse plus option which can add rinses.

    Rinse plus
Additional rinse cycle. For areas with very soft water or for an even better rinsing result.

Note: Select Rinse Plus by Option button. Then touch Select button to select the desired rinse cycles (max. 3 cycles, depend on selected programmes).
