If you are ordering Pt No: 1326630207 which supercedes Pt No: 1249206226, I would recommend you consider using Pt No: 50286281006.

Why, you may ask? 😕 Well, I have examined both parts very carefully & can see no physical difference. They both have TOC’s. They both come with the pump screwed to the chamber. The sticker on the pumps themselves has exactly the same numbers & ratings on them. If there is any difference in the chamber, it is so minute I cannot see it but the chamber can be used from the old pump that is being replaced if that is an issue. The pump I am recommending you use comes with 2 amp tags & 2 shrouds in the box & if required a leaflet of instuctions for fitting.

But the main reason I am recommending this pump is the cost. The 0207/6226 pump has an RRP of £42 + VAT 😯 , whereas the 1006 pump has a RRP of £22.90p + VAT. 😀

I hope this might be of help to some of you. 8)

If you are talking RRP then it might be advantageous to sell the dearer type, depending on their respective trade prices (assuming you don’t price yourself out of the job). I carry genuine Askoll pumps in the van, Masterpart UN51202 and UN51205. I get at least 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} mark up and the customer still gets a bargain. 😉

    Hi Phidom.

The RRP I refer to is the one that Electrolux Distriparts give out. Obviously this information is mainly aimed at anyone doing Electrolux Manufacturers Warranty calls where you are expected to fit Genuine parts only. I’m not saying you should but there is nothing to stop you buying in the cheaper one & selling it at the higher price as it is the same part but has a couple of amp tags & shrouds into the bargain.
