Well, if we sell lots of them then we can try to re-negotiate a little, but until we prove it… 😉

Trouble is we had to balance spec, price, warranty and all the rest of it at once and, of course, everyone wants something a little different in that mix. I don’t think we did too bad as there’s a few little unique things on the machine.

Of course, if it was £20 more expensive then there would have been a lot more scope. As usual it comes down to price a lot. 😕

I know. Don’t get me wrong! I appreciate the effort(s) that must have gone into this. Its good to have all of the ISE machines to sell.

My point really was about the ‘spec’ which is what I believe the customer initially looks at. I would love to think the sale was about just me and what I can offer but that’s not the real world. We all know how fickle customers can be!!!

    Oh God yes! 😆

It’s no probs tim, I just like to explain things as best I can. It’s weird though reading through the likes of this thread and seeing what different people sell different things for different reasons as everyone’s different and somehow it all seems to work.

One of the other reasons was additional justification to sell up to ISE5 or ten though. 😉

Regarding the retail price of the ISE2. I think it would be a good idea if we were all selling at the same price as I assume we are with the ISE 5 and the ISE 10. A survey of what each of us think may be useful and we may be able to get some agreement. I think that Barrie’s suggestion of £279 including delivery and installation sounds about right

Two people waiting for sales info, please send ASAP. I used to sell Beko WMA10 1000 spin machines until they became unavailable. ISE2 looks like a much better deal.

    Emailed to you megawatt. 🙂

It’s preliminary info, especially the photo as it’s a generic one until I get one here for a photo session. What I want to know is, can I get some models in to photograph draped over machines?

Somehow I’m guessing John won’t go for it, but heh, it’s worth a try. 😉

Even better the machines arrived today, so…

HERE’S A LINK TO THE NEW FLYER WITH MORE INFO ON IT!

The updated flyer has more info on specs and also actual pictures of the pukka machine. I’ll get more pics done, hopefully a bit better as soon as I can but I wanted good info available quick, or as good as I could get.

I have deliberately left off any pricing info so you can show these to customers if required.

Re: For Those That Missed It…

What`s the “no mark up on spares” bit?

I take it this must just be on the warranty repairs.
Is the payment for warranty calls the same as the Ise5? and what will happen after the 2 year warranty if a customer comes into the shop to buy a part to fit themselves? Will the spares prices at this time be available for the public to view and buy from UKW and where will that leave us spares retailers?

Just a few queries to start……..

Re: For Those That Missed It…

Basically it means that we don’t mark up spares over the actual cost. In other words, we’re not ripping people off on parts. 😉

The point of it is to get people to realise that we’re not ripping them off on the parts.

Re: For Those That Missed It…

    😳 Missed that 😳

I am sure that the payments are the same, but I’ll check with John in a bit as I can’t recall.

Spares pricing is simply us (ISE Limited hat on) saying that WE don’t mark the spares up or use it as a profit generator.

(UKW hat on) UKW would put a margin on for retailing as, like you, we have mouths to feed.

The point of it is to make a PCB for example, retail for, I dunno, £40-50 while the competition is over £100 in many cases making the ISE machines far more attractive for repairs. Which, as repairers, is pretty much in our self interest.

    Does that answer it?

Re: For Those That Missed It…

Can anyone tell me the wash times of the ISE2 and particularly the time of the quick wash?

    Have my first customer interested.
