F&P 708. Error code 11111000 (248). This is the error code I receive when I used the diagnosis sheet. The machine turns on, works for about 90 seconds, then turns off again. Happens all the way through the cycle – no beeps, just “dies”. When switched off at the mains, after 15-20 secs, will turn on again and work for another 90 secs. Very frustrating. Any ideas? 😕

That ain’t a code. 00011111 is a code….. But you won’t like it very much! It means that the display board is not talking to the computer properly. Switch off the Auto Restart function and re-run the diagnostgics as per the sticky above and see what you get.
Remember to read any code from right to left.

Thanx Penguin45. Just wrote my code down wrong. I did what you suggested and re-ran the diagnostics after turning off the auto restart. No error code now and all is well! Thanx very much for your assistnace, brains and prompt reply. Probably saved me a fortune! 😀
