    While the machine is in the wash cycle as the agitator stops to change direction the 708 give a loud squeal like a loose belt or fried bearing.


    Please help

    No belts……….. Bearings possible. Bearings do tend to make more of a rumble than a squeak. Loose motor rotor can make some interesting noises if not fully secured. Might be worth pulling paddle and making sure nothing is trapped underneath.

    thanks for your reply I hear you in regards to bearings. Could this be as simple as the suspension system needing some lube ?

    no lube did not help noise is definitely coming from the bottom of the machine
