    Hi guys,
The festive season has KO’d our freezer as it did a couple of times previously. The problem is the evaporator fan up the back – it has a three point rubber suspension mount which hooks onto points on the plastic panel it’s in. A few years ago one of the upper mounts broke and I was able to jerry-rig a fix from elastic which was just fine. However now all three suspension arms are snapped and I have to replace the rubber mount. I have no idea where to find one and my only online success has been finding a complete replacement fan, which I don’t need (and it’s generic rather than a F&P part).
Feeling pretty frustrated that a small piece of rubber can take out an entire fridge – does anyone have any ideas?
    Thanks for any help.
    Cheers,
    Matthew.

Sorry – I should have mentioned that the model number is E521T and it’s about 9 years old.

There are a few different versions of the 521T over the years. Can you post up the PN or Product number which you will find on the rating plate and I can then let you know if the mount is available. The PN number is usualy 5 digits long and sometimes has a letter at the end of it.

Thanks John – a local supplier was very helpful and succeeded in figuring out the part number for me – it’s referred to as a “spring, fan suspended” and it’s in one of the manufacturer information sheets available here:

Thanks again for your kind willingness to help!
