ParticipantHi,
Thanks for recent advice, however the machine is still in need of attention.
Currently the bowl is full and will not empty.
H&S LEDS show 0000 1001
It also fills in bursts. It is plumbed for cold water only, cold water selection is made each time a wash is done.
OOB micro sw sounds ok when OOB lever is worked manually. Thanks for helping,

First make sure the W/m is empty. The problem is the size has not been set. To set the size switch turn the power on at the power point and off at the console. Press and hold the
TEMPERATURE UP button then press the POWER button. Smartdrive will give 4 short beeps and the
pattern of LEDs will change.• Press TEMPERATURE UP button, the COLD LED is on for 5-5.5kg (560mm wide).
• Press WATER LEVEL UP button, the LOW WATER LED is on for 6-6.5kg (600mm wide).
• Press SPIN SPEED UP button, the SPIN HOLD LED is on for 7-7.5kg (650mm wide).
• Press POWER to exit this mode. 😉December 17, 2005 at 11:34 pm #157985fused

Thanks, size set ok.
The machine still does nothing once the start button is pressed. No noises of anything trying to start. Powers up ok, first progress indicator blinks as normal then goes solid once start pressed but no action.
Is this terminal?

Hi Fused,
You’ve thrown us by starting a second thread……….. Kiwi’s basically given you the same info that I did. ‘Fraid I can’t add any more – I have let Kiwi know, so hopefully he’ll come back with a bit more info.Don’t give up just yet……

Sorry for the confusion, I figured this was a different fault.
The machine is still cactus. I’ve done a visual on the circuit board and checked the oob micro sw with a meter, all ok. The machine powers up ok but no action when the start button pressed as already mentioned. I’ve set size again according to Kiwi’s advice, no changes.
Does this mean I need a new Main board? What sensors could prevent the machine from starting? Are there any control signals I could check with a basic meter to diagnose further?
