    Hello,

I was looking for some help with a F+P 703. It stopped working other day. I have installed a new Drain Pump. Now I have an error code 133 when reading left to right & adding binary code. Can anyone advise me what this means?

    Thanks Disco

    OK now have another problem.

As soon as I turn on electricity at wall switch, the cold water solenoid opens & just continues to fill machine. It doesn’t matter if I turn it off at the power button on machine, whilst ever the electricticity is turned on the solenoid continues to operate. Any idea’s?

OK, now this piece of shite blew the fuse in the main board! and just keeps blowing fuses in an instant.

I’m getting the feeling by the number of Fisher & Paykel enquiries for help on this website that these F+P washers have definitely got a “use by date” associated with them? Pretty pathetic really its not even 10 years old yet.

133 is excess current detected at the motor. This can be a short circuit winding in the motor – this may well be borne out by it now blowing fuses.

Inlet valve being on permanently can be a triac failure on the computer – possibly tertiary damage from the motor problem.

Don’t be fooled by the large number of F+P posts – this forum seems to be the only one in the world offering advice!
