I recently returned from a month away and for some reason the washing machine has simply stopped working. It starts up normally (light sequence), no alarm, no error code (that or an error code of 0000000), circuitry looks clean. The board is still quite new – less than a year. It just doesn’t “start” on any cycle.

I must admit I am at a loss as I just can’t think of what even looks wrong to fix. It has been quite hot (35 degrees) with much higher than normal humidity and storms for the past month but I feel this may be clutching at straws. Any ideas? Cheers

Lid switch and associated wiring and connectors are always worth investigating with a no-start problem.
