    Hi,

I have Fault 37 registering on an F&P IW712E. From searching the posts in this forum, the fault can be traced to the drain pump or the diverter valve.

Both the pump and diverter valve are new replacements and appear to be working correctly.

One post mentioned that the pressure switch may be a contributer and this seems to make sense as the water is actually drained from the machine and the fault happens after the pump continues running for a while.

I am assuming that the pressure switch tells the control unit when there is no water left and the fault is happening after a time out period written into the software.

    My questions are as follows.

    Are the assumptions correct?

How do I check/repair the pressure switch.

There doesn’t appear to be any kinks in the hose for the pressure switch and I can blow air from the top.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Paul

    Yep Fault Code 37
Reads while draining .the water level from pressure sensor has not changed over 3 Mins
Check for pump blockages Prseeure Tube Etc Not Kinked (As You Have)

Pressure Swicth Is Integrated into Main Motor Controller (PCB)
I have unfortunately Replaced for this fault before

    Hi again,

I have double checked the clear tube leading to the pressure switch for kinks are blockages, removed the bung from the tub where the lower part of the tube connects bottom and checked for blockage and there doesn’t appear to be any.

Just to make sure, I blew the line with compressed air and now the pump runs when the machine is first plugged in (not powered up) and then there is a fault 12.

Have I damaged the pressure switch?

It’s looking very likely that the motor control board will have to be replaced unless someone has a better idea.
