    Hi,
    I have concluded that I have a possessed GW712

I initially had spin problems, so replaced the motor position sensor, which settled things down a bit, but the problem came back. I check all connectors, and gave them a clean anyway, along with the wire harness. Tapping the motor controller held for a bit, then it came back. So I bought a new controller.

Now this when things get weird.

After fitting the new controller and checking the wiring I turned it on, and rewarded with 4 short beeps, and no leds up, just as the instructions said.

So I read the next instruction, looked up and 4 leds were on, something like 110011 or similar (can’t quite recall). So following the instructions I turned the power of at the wall, waited a bit and turned it back on. I was rewarded with a new a code 8 (1000)… which doesn’t even exist in the instructions!!!! And turning the power of at the wall does not make it go away.

I haven’t touch anything else (no buttons on the machine…just the power point).

How the heck do I program something that will not let me get to the first step. Help anyone!!

    Any advice appreciated

    Size switch error ?
    Power off at console
Press & Hold Wash Temp up button then press Power
To lock size into memory Press spin speed up until SPIN HOLD led is on
Press power to store & exit mode

Ok will give it a go.

I am a little hesitant though as in fact this was the second controller (I left it out to avoid confusion). Last time I got a same sought of thing and ended up with and error code 9 (bad controller or misconfiguration). There I only touched the power button on the console. The difference in this case is I actually turned the console on to confirm functionality before looking at the configuration instructions. And I turned it off again….and eventually ended up having to swap the controller with this one.

The supplier was very good about it and I thanked him.

Turning the power of at the console will not “load” invalid settings into the controller??

    Thanks
