My washing machine stops in two spots (The same two spots all of the time)and beeps at me. It is the same beep that sounds when the machine is unbalance during a spin cycle but the unit is not unbalance, well I dont think it is. To get the unit going again it is just a case of advancing the cycle, but this is inconvenient. Can you explain what the problem is (I do have electrical knowledge so it doesn’t have to be explained in laimen’s terms)?
I just did a load then and the hot and cold water lights flash but the warm doesn’t.
It sounds like a water supply problem, or a bad water valve. First check the filters at both the tap end of the hose (most likely the cold side) as well as the plastic mesh filter inside the valve (the part the hose screws onto at the back of the WM), remove the hose and pull the filter out of the valve with longnose pliers. The filters are probably blocked
