Hopefully someone can save my sanity.
My 503 is doing the same thing as outlined here https://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules. … ic&t=32987
It started doing it out of the blue so seems strange it would be a pipe issue. It starts beeping and the water level ‘high’ and ‘low’ lights start flashing.
I’ve tried to get it into diagnosis mode but I can’t get the double beep.
Any help would be hugely appreciated!

Lets Start from the top
Turn off Power (even Pull Plug)
Plug Back In & Run Diagnostics
IE PRESS & HOLD WashTemp Down & Power On
Press Advance Button ONCE
Press Spin Speed UP Button until HOLD & SLOW are LIT
This should Get the last Fault Code

I’ve repeatedly tried that and the variation where you don’t press advance. I still can’t get the double beep.
When ‘Hold’ and ‘Slow’ are lit none of the top line of lights are lit. Lights along the top do go on when other combinations such as fast/slow or fast/hold are lit though.

No problem:
When fast is lit I get 0010000
When hold/fast are lit I get 11000001
When fast/slow are lit I get 00000111
When fast/slow and hold are lit I get 11111111
When fast/med are lit I get 00000110
When fast/med/slow are lit I get 00101010
When fast/med/slow/hold are lit I get 00110010
All other combinations give no lights.
Make sense to anyone?

Unless i can get lights When Hold & Slow are lit can Give A fault code
Is the machine letting in water?
If So How fast is the Water coming in
Is both hot & cold coming in ?
What stage of the cycle is the machine faulting ?
Does it operate on spin only cycle ?

It’s one of the mysteries for me that it won’t go into diagnostic mode.
My suspicion is that it’s not getting enough water into at it times out or something as a result. It does fill but very slowly. Have pulled the hoses off and they seem to be clear.
If I fill it with the basin hose it will proceed on. It has the same problem when it gets to rinse cycle and will have a sad and start beeping.
I thought it might be the cold water solenoid (gold unit that hose goes into) so switched it with the hot which seemed to help slightly in terms of filling faster. It still comes to a beeping halt however.
Any help hugely appreciated!

Water valve fault was what I was leaning to
Cold & hot valves are Different
Cold is Part # 426143 Its A proportional valve About $45 AUD
Hot is 426122 $30.00 AUDSlow filling is quite a common fault relating back to water valve fault

Where are the inlet pipe filters? I was expecting a mesh filter or something on the end of the line but there doesn’t appear to be any. Maybe that’s part of the problem.

Filters At Tap End of Hose
Just a washer with filter to Stop Any grit etc getting into water valve
Valve has a Filter as well
Filters important to have if on tank water
