F&P SmartDrive 708 not filling (00111000)

Hi,

Having trouble with 708 washing machine.

Machine will fill for about a minute and then stop to a trickle and not fill properly. At one stage the machine was beaping every 5 sec with the hot & cold lights lit up. Inlet hoses are not blocked and water temp seemed ok. Outlet hose also drained ok at the end of cycle.

Circuit board looks in ok condition (no burn marks) and there are no loose connections anywhere. Lid switch seems to work correctly (i.e. when I open the lid the water stops and starts again when I close it)

Error code is 00111000

Any help would be much appreciated.

If you had just described fault without flagging fault code would have said FAULTY Inlet Valve
Fault Code Given (56) Manual suggests Bowl Check no valid Fault
Ie While carrying out bowl check the smartdrive has not been able to
determine bowl status
Possible Causes
1/Check that there are no foriegn objects between bowls
Check pressure tube not blocked or kinked
2/Motor controller(Main PCB Fault)
It could be temp sensor failure or pressure switch failure(These are integrated into the motor controller (main PCB)

Have you tried filling on cold Or hot water only?

Where are the bowls located?

Open the lid & PRESTO

Take off Agitaor & check under that as Well
Wing nut down the centre

lol the bowl, Sorry I am more used to float bowls i.e. carburetors.

Anyway, I have tried filling the machine twice. Once on cold and once on hot. Both times slow trickle of only cold water came out. So in diagnostic mode held down hot button then held down cold; hot water flowed freely but cold water only trickled out.

Error code is 00110010

So, would you suggest replacing cold water valve? If so can you please suggest where it can be purchased (in Perth Western Australia).
