F&P Smartdrive gw701 – All wash progress lights lit

Hi guys, fantastic site – I have fixed a couple of things based on info here, well done!

I have a gw701 that has some intermittent stopping at the spin cycle…it generally finishes if I reset the power, and it doesnt always stop either. Other than that when it has finished the cycle completely it flashes 5 lights on the top display – from Long wash to short wash – constantly. They will only stop if I pull the power cord out.
I ran the diags and got these leds across the top (right to left):
10100100

The five lights coming up mean that the restart facility is disabled. If restart is on, the machine will store any fault in the memory, then try to carry on with the programme.

To set it to “on”, enter diagnostics – Hold down Wash Temp Down, the press Power. After the two beeps, hold down Advance and press Water Level Down. When the Low Water Level led is lit, restart is on. Power off and it should be saved in the eeprom.

The fault code you came up with is a braking problem. Drum should stop within 10 seconds from spin. The controller is the usual culprit, although it is always worth checking wiring to the Rotor Position Sensor and motor for chaffing, breakages, water damage and the like.
